A dee ring snaffle with a smooth sweet iron mouthpiece and copper inlay, on stainless rings.
Sweet iron oxidises, and the rust is the point — it tastes sweet, and with the copper inlay it encourages the horse to wet the mouth and carry the bit rather than hold against it. The dee shape sits flat at the corner and will not pull through or pinch. Weight is deliberate: a heavier bit hangs quietly and gives the horse something definite to find. The smooth mouthpiece is the mildest in the line.
